Strawberry Shortcake

Grandma's Biscuits:

Ingredients:

2 cups flour,
3 teaspoons baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1/3 shortening,
3/4 cup milk. 

Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees, drop biscuits on baking sheet at desired size and bake until completely firm.

Filling:

After the biscuits have cooled, cut them in half and add a layer of brown sugar, then a dollop of creme fraiche, and garnished with half of a blackberry, strawberries, and mint leaf.
