a simple treat

Yesterday, I was craving one simple dish my friend D brought to girls night last week - strawberries dipped in creme fraiche and rolled in brown sugar. 

So here is how it is done - it is pretty self explanatory.

Strawberries

 Dipped in creme fraiche 

And rolled in brown sugar

I love recipes that only have a few ingredients, and especially, if those few ingredients are pantry staples.  Creme fraiche may not be in your refrigerator as of right now, but after this recipe, it will be a staple. 

The hardest part of this recipe was actually finding the creme fraiche at the grocery store.  If for some reason you cannot find creme fraiche, sour cream (which is most likely already in your refrigerator) is a good substitute.
